During my tenure as a French language specialist, I have demonstrated the ability to master a vast range of skills. I was Chief Interpreter, coordinating six languages, at several Rotary International conventions in Glasgow, Singapore and Buenos Aires. My recent clients include McDonald's Corp., Rotary International, The Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Square D. and Marbo-Tampico.

I also was an in-house language specialist at Rotary International headquarters in Evanston, Illinois for many years. In this role, I edited the work of other translators, proofread publications at various stages of production, edited galleys, adapted texts to French civilization and culture in the Communications Division.

Having traveled and/or worked on five continents of the world gives me a multi-national perspective. I deeply enjoy interpreting as it facilitates linguistic exchanges between French-speaking countries and the United States. As a language mediator, I bridge the gap between cultures and meet communication needs. I have been a cross-cultural trainer for 7 years at Prudential Relocation Intercultural Services, conferring with American executives leaving for an assignment in France. My expertise however is not limited to France, Martinique or Guadeloupe, since I had the opportunity to establish a cultural center and acted as its co-director during my stay in Equatorial Guinea.
